Información general del producto

The Vortex® Wye Line Diverter™ is specifically engineered to handle dry bulk solids in vacuum or dilute phase pneumatic conveying systems with pressures up to 15 psig (1 barg) depending on size. A full flow orifice provides unrestricted conveying of material.

• Live Loaded, wear compensating hard polymer pressure plate seals
• Shimming system allows for in-line maintenance
• Machined, full-bore orifice for unobstructed material flow & to maintain convey line pressures
• Can be shifted on a flowing column of materials
• Positive seal of materials & dusts across the closed port(s) and to atmosphere
• Mechanically self-cleans its seals with each actuation
• No pinch points or exposed moving point for safety
• No internal cavities to prevent wedging, lodging & spoilage
• Narrow profile for limited space applications

Live Loaded, wear compensating hard polymer pressure plate seals

Shimming system allows for in-line maintenance

Machined, full-bore orifice for unobstructed material flow & to maintain convey line pressures

Can be shifted on a flowing column of materials

Positive seal of materials & dusts across the closed port(s) and to atmosphere

Mechanically self-cleans its seals with each actuation

No pinch points or exposed moving point for safety

No internal cavities to prevent wedging, lodging & spoilage

Narrow profile for limited space applications

Gravity flow & dilute phase pneumatic conveying applications. Can handle differential pressures up to 15 psig | 1 barg | 0.1 MPa, depending on gate size. Can be used in pressure or vacuum systems.

Non-abrasive to moderately abrasive powders, pellets and granules. Modifications available for handling corrosive materials and/or for wash-down.

2 – 12 in | 50 – 305 mm ID & OD diameters are available. Also available in schedule 10, 20 or 40 pipe sizes.

Compression couplings, ANSI #125/150

180° F | 80° C for standard gate, with modifications that allow up to 400° F | 205° C

Aluminum, 304 or 316L stainless steel, carbon steel

Nylon, PET, UHMW, glass-filled PTFE

Natural rubber and/or silicone rubber

Double-acting air cylinder, hand wheel/crank, chain wheel, electric actuator

Magnetic reed, proximity or mechanical limit switches, and/or clear bonnet cover for visual indication

Ceramic backing, ceramic/epoxy coating, or reinforced inlet weldment, Sealed body air purge

ATEX Zone 20 (internal), ATEX Zone 21 (external), FDA

Diverter has straight through conveying line designed for easier “in line” installation and less system conveying pressure drop when using multiple diverters.

Standard tube size diverters are made with schedule 10 pipe throughout.

Standard tube size diverters are made with schedule 40 pipe throughout.

Modifications are made allowing 250°F (121°C) continuous to 300°F (149°C) intermittent service.

Modifications are made allowing 400°F (204°C) continuous to 450°F (232°C) intermittent service.

Gate blade is electropolished. Polyethylene (PET or UHMW) pressure plate seals are used to replace nylon.

Inlets and outlets are flanged with ANSI, DIN or JIS connections. The outlet opposite the air cylinder is offset at 30 or 45 degrees.
