The SITRANS TS100 is a simple resistance thermometer with various sensor types (Pt100/Pt1000 or thermocouples type J or K) with no own source of ignition, such as capacitance or inductance. The complete energy within the intrinsic safe loop is provided by the connected transmitter unit, such as SITRANS TR320. The sensor does not store any energy. All relevant electrical data for the interconnection with the transmitter is described in the valid manufacture declaration which is published on the product website.
