SITRANS FMT020 is the next-generation successor to the MAG 5000/6000 transmitter series, providing a future-ready platform for modernization and new projects. It pairs with SITRANS sensors such as the SITRANS FMS500 for water and wastewater, the SITRANS FMS300 for general process applications, and the SITRANS FMS100 for demanding environments requiring high corrosion resistance and high-temperature tolerance.

As the successor to the SITRANS MAG 5000 and MAG 6000 transmitters, the SITRANS FMT020 supports seamless upgrades for both compact and remote mounting configurations, thanks to its modular and easy-to-replace electronics.

Simultaneous measurement of flow, velocity, and conductivity—along with empty-pipe monitoring, device self-checks, and verification support—helps operators take early action and reduce maintenance efforts.

Plug-and-play communication modules and multifunction I/O make it easy to connect the transmitter to control systems using HART, PROFINET, Profibus DP/PA, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, and Modbus RTU architectures.
