The SITRANS FM MAG 6000 delivers ±0.2% accuracy and superior signal resolution for an optimum turndown ratio. Its 19″ rack design integrates seamlessly into control rooms and cabinets, with additional panel, front-panel and wall-mounting options. Plug-in communication modules, SENSORPROM auto-configuration and integrated batch control make it a versatile choice for water, chemical, food and beverage, and power generation applications.

Install the transmitter in a standard 19″ rack, on a panel or on a wall—keeping electronics in a protected, easily accessible location. An optional safety barrier enables connection to Ex-approved sensors in hazardous areas.

Replace a transmitter in minutes, not hours. The SENSORPROM unit transfers all calibration data and settings to the new device automatically—no reprogramming, no production delays and no specialist required on site.

Manage batch filling and dosing directly from the transmitter. Configure batch quantity, overrun compensation and time monitoring via the built-in menu, and trigger operations through the digital input or keypad.

A four-level error system with error logging, empty-pipe detection and self-diagnostics helps operators identify issues early. Compliant with NAMUR NE 21, NE 32, NE 43, NE 53 and NE 70.

An optional connection board with integrated electrode cleaning is available for the 19″ version in both wall-mounting and panel-mounting enclosures to help maintain measurement accuracy in fouling-prone applications.

An optional integrated safety barrier enables connection to ATEX-approved MAG 1100 Ex or MAG 3100 Ex sensors in hazardous areas while the 19″ transmitter remains installed in the safe area.

The transmitter works with SITRANS FM electromagnetic sensors, including the SITRANS FM MAG 1100 and MAG 3100. For the 19″ version with safety barrier, Ex-approved MAG 1100 Ex and MAG 3100 Ex sensors are also supported.

Every sensor is shipped with a calibration certificate, and all calibration data—including calibration factor, correction factor and excitation frequency—are stored in the SENSORPROM memory unit. The transmitter reads this data automatically at power-up. The measurement begins immediately without any manual intervention.

The SITRANS FM MAG 6000 accepts 11 to 30 V DC, 11 to 24 V AC or 115 to 230 V AC (50/60 Hz), giving you flexibility across different plant power infrastructures.
