Control batch filling and dosing directly from the transmitter—no separate batch controller is needed. Set the batch quantity, overrun compensation, and time monitoring via the built-in menu, and trigger start, stop, and hold using the digital input or keypad.

A four-level error system (Information, Warning, Permanent, Fatal) with error logging, empty-pipe detection, and self-verification helps operators identify issues early. Complies with NAMUR NE 21, NE 32, NE 43, NE 53, and NE 70.

Install directly on the sensor or remotely on a wall or pipe using cable lengths of up to 500 m. The rugged IP67/NEMA 4X aluminum enclosure with a polyester powder coating is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations at temperatures ranging from –20 to +60 °C.

The transmitter is compatible with Siemens MAG-series electromagnetic sensors, specifically the SITRANS FM MAG 1100 and SITRANS FM MAG 3100. For the compact-mounted Ex version, only the MAG 3100 sensor in sizes DN 15 to DN 300 (½” to 12″) is supported.

Every sensor is shipped with a calibration certificate, and all calibration data—including the calibration factor, correction factor, and excitation frequency—are stored in the SENSORPROM memory unit. This means the flowmeter begins measuring accurately immediately after power-up, without manual intervention. The SITRANS FM MAG 6000 I also features built-in self-diagnostics, allowing operators to check the device’s status on site without removing the meter from the process.

Yes. The SITRANS FM MAG 6000 I uses USM II (Universal Signal Module) plug-and-play communication modules that can be installed at any time. Adding a module—for example, HART or PROFIBUS PA—does not disable the standard analog (4–20 mA), pulse/frequency, or relay outputs. All outputs remain fully operational alongside the new bus communication.

The standard SITRANS FM MAG 6000 I accepts 18 to 90 V DC or 115 to 230 V AC (50/60 Hz), giving you flexibility across different plant infrastructures. The Ex version operates on 20 to 27 V DC or 115 to 230 V AC (50/60 Hz).
