No, your settings are completely safe. Thanks to the unique SENSORPROM™ memory unit, all calibration data and operational settings are permanently stored within the sensor itself. If you need to replace a MAG 6000 or MAG 6000 I transmitter, the new unit will automatically upload the existing data to ensure a seamless replacement.
