Aero-Slide Drum Valve

The Vortex® Aero-Slide™ Drum Valve is specifically designed for use in conjunction with the Vortex® Aero-Slide™ Conveyor. Unlike the Vortex® Aero-Slide™ Gate Valve, which is primarily intended for shutting off material flow, the Aero-Drum Valve is well-suited for metering material flow.

• Dust-tight relative to the atmosphere
• Can shut off or measure material flow
• No bonnet area. Therefore, material migration and the associated actuation issues are prevented
• Optional dual-cylinder configuration for installation beneath a silo
• Common materials handled: cement and fly ash
