Engineered for extreme versatility, SITRANS FM MAG 3100 features fully welded carbon or stainless steel construction, withstanding high pressures and heavy mechanical loads. With a vast selection of liners (like PTFE or PFA) and electrodes, it adapts to highly corrosive or abrasive media. Paired with MAG 6000 (19” version) and MAG 6000 I transmitters, this sensor provides long-term stability, validated calibration and minimal maintenance in harsh environments.

Liners: Soft rubber, EPDM , PTFE, PFA, Ebonite, Linatex Electrodes: AISI 316 Ti (1.4571), Hastelloy C, Platinum, Titanium, Tantalum
Sensor material: Carbon steel (or AISI 304) with corrosion resistant two component epoxy coating or AISI 316 L polished flanges and housing

When paired with the appropriate SITRANS MAG 6000 I Ex version (metallic enclosure) transmitters, the SITRANS FM MAG 3100 is fully approved for Ex applications (ATEX, IECEx and Cl 1 Div 2). It complies with stringent international standards mentioned above for precise measurement in harsh environments.
You can expect high measurement precision. Every SITRANS FM MAG 3100 sensor undergoes validated calibration in facilities individually accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. You can achieve a standard accuracy of ±0.2% of the flow rate (with SITRANS FM MAG 6000 I and MAG6000 19” rack version). For applications requiring stringent tolerances, special 5-point, 10-point and matched-pair calibrations are also available.
