SIMOTICS M-1FE built-in motors are main spindle motors for modern machine tools. Available in synchronous and asynchronous designs, they deliver high accuracy in speed, torque and positioning. With short rise times, they reliably handle extreme load cycles and enable high machining quality and smooth operation in demanding applications.

The mechanical motor power is transferred directly to the spindle without any mechanical transmission elements. This direct drive approach means higher precision and accuracy and less mechanical wear and maintenance.
