SITRANS FM100 is a compact stainless steel electromagnetic flow meter for small to medium flow applications, ideal for OEMs and industrial use.

The SITRANS FM100 is an all-in-one sensor-transmitter unit designed for small to medium flow applications. Its compact full-bore design simplifies installation in tight spaces with no pressure drop. IO-Link enables seamless integration into modern automation architectures with smart diagnostics, remote parameterization and automatic device replacement to reduce commissioning time and total cost of ownership.

Integrate via IO-Link or two freely configurable outputs. Set up locally with four optical touch keys and a color TFT display rotatable in 90° steps. An intuitive menu guides you without needing the manual.

Monitor small to medium flows with bidirectional measurement and an integrated PT1000 temperature sensor for richer process context. Measurement is independent of fluid density, viscosity or temperature.

Use the built-in dosing function with external start/stop/reset control to optimize filling and injection tasks. Track totals through a resettable daily counter and a total counter for precise batch management.

Choose IO-Link for digital process and diagnostic data, or use analog 4–20 mA, pulse, frequency or alarm outputs. Two outputs are freely configurable via standard M12 connectors.

Rely on full stainless-steel housing with IP67 protection and a color TFT display operable with gloves. Withstands shock up to 20 g and vibration up to 5 g.

Individually assign two buttons to frequently-used display functions. Reduce menu navigation and speed up daily operations at the device.

The SITRANS FM100 requires a minimum liquid conductivity of ≥5 µS/cm (≥20 µS/cm for demineralized water applications). This makes it suitable for most water-based and chemical fluids but not for hydrocarbons or non-conductive liquids.

IO-Link transmits digital measurement values, device status and diagnostics over a simple 3-wire unshielded cable. It enables remote configuration, automatic device replacement via data storage and predictive maintenance—all without additional fieldbus infrastructure. These features significantly reduce wiring costs and commissioning time.
