The SITRANS FM100 is an all-in-one sensor-transmitter unit designed for small- to medium-flow applications. Its compact full-bore design simplifies installation in tight spaces without causing a pressure drop. IO-Link enables seamless integration into modern automation architectures with smart diagnostics, remote parameterization, and automatic device replacement to reduce commissioning time and total cost of ownership.

Integrate via IO-Link or two freely configurable outputs. Set up locally using four optical touch keys and a color TFT display that can be rotated in 90° increments. An intuitive menu guides you without the need for the manual.

Monitor small- to medium-flow rates with bidirectional measurement and an integrated PT1000 temperature sensor to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the process. Measurement is independent of fluid density, viscosity, or temperature.

Use the built-in dosing function with external start/stop/reset controls to optimize filling and injection tasks. Track totals using a resettable daily counter and a total counter for precise batch management.

Capture two process values from a single device to improve diagnostics and reduce the number of sensors. The flow range is 0.015–650 l/min, and the PT1000 sensor measures media temperature with an accuracy of ≤2 °C.

Choose IO-Link for digital process and diagnostic data, or use analog 4–20 mA, pulse, frequency, or alarm outputs. Two outputs can be freely configured via standard M12 connectors.

The SITRANS FM100 requires a minimum liquid conductivity of ≥5 µS/cm (≥20 µS/cm for demineralized water applications). This makes it suitable for most water-based and chemical fluids, but not for hydrocarbons or non-conductive liquids.

IO-Link transmits digital measurement values, device status, and diagnostics over a simple 3-wire unshielded cable. It enables remote configuration, automatic device replacement through data storage, and predictive maintenance—all without additional fieldbus infrastructure. These features significantly reduce wiring costs and commissioning time.
